The crtc_states could be got concurrently if multiple atomic checks happen simultaneously, so ERR_PTR(-EDEADLK) could be returned from drm_atomic_get_crtc_state(). In such normal cases, we just rollback all added drm objects and userspace could try the same atomic check or commit again, so it's unnecessary to warn. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
